This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated

Not that anyone actually thought I was dead.. but you know.. I've not exactly been active of late..
So my last Journal post was in October last year.. my bad.. Since then nothing interesting has happened and as such I am just wasting your time with a stupid pointless journal.. lalalalalala...
Kidding..
I started my Photography "Degree" at the Canberra Institute of Technology in early Feb. Since then I have learned darkroom.. and then learned to hate it.. and had a muck around in the studio..
A mate from CIT and obliging model, Mel..
Another mate from CIT, Nikky
Mel again, in colour
Me, by a mate Dan.. thanks bruv..
So I learned a lot from my first foray into the studio, like hair lights are a must for people with black hair so as to not totally loose definition (note the left side of Mels head in both her shots)..
Anyway, prior to starting at CIT, I decided to go with the most unpopular opinion from my most recent poll (recent being the 27th of October)..
I bought a car!..
Suzuki Swift RE3
and no, it doesn't have a name.. It is just my car..
annnd a better idea of the car..
I know I know.. all of you (and me) would have preferred I purchased a 5dmkII, 24-70/2.8 and 16-35/2.8 but logic and reason had to come first.. I can't sponge off my parents forever.. and I wanted a car I wouldn't be taking in to the shop to get repaired every 2 weeks so I went with a new car..
Soon my friends.. Soon I will have said camera gear..
Anyway more recently I went shooting with =Sun-Seeker at stupid O'clock and started here and ended here.. yes a solid 80km away..
This images gives you an idea of the landscape surrounding Lake Bathurst..
Yes.. "Lake Bathurst".. or where it used to be..
So for school I am currently working on a folio which is simply "Canberra" and I'm working on a series of images of the bike paths around the city featuring Telstra Tower in the background..
This is the general idea.. except they'll be on film..
Anyway I'm off to Tasmania for a school trip in 2 weeks.. Very excitement.. I'll be the only 1st year going.. w00tah for meeting new people.. not that I don't know a few already.. (namely *tayloma and =droolz)
Hi, Your photographs are TOTALLY AMAZING, and I was wondering if I could use some of them for my Honors Biology project. (i'm making a short movie/powerpoint) It would be only for educational purposes, and I would be sure to cite you at the end of the presentation. Sincerely, -lvl3babydwagon
I am defenatelly most interested in animals. I love ... no.... I ADORE animals. Chem is my weaker point, Physics and Astronomy are my strongest subjects... besides Art class ^^. Biology is ok... I'm not all that into memorization... but when we're talking about animals, I can understand everything so much easier than in other subjects or other subunits of Biology. Oh, actually, it is just one pic. that I really want to use. It's "Cheetah Chillaxing". We recently read "Brave New World", and watched "GATTACA" and "Clone" (a National Geographic documentarry called Clone, not the HollyWood movie Clone), so, for our third quarter project, we are supposed to write a paper (I already finished it) on what we think about this whole subject (ethics, life, or just cloning in general.. etc. etc. We're pretty much given lots of freedom on the relating subject). But, I feel so passionate about the beauty of nature and animals that I cannot fully express my view through a paper, so I am also making a short video. Yes, you can absolutely see the video when it is finished... and once I find a way to get it to you... I might be able to publish it to an e-mail but I'm not sure if it will be too big... Oh well, I'll find some way to get it to you. And would you also like me to e-mail you a copy of my paper? Sincerelly, -lvl3babydwagon

what area of biology are you most interested? I'm quite the science nerd, however biology was my weak point, chem and physics sat better with me
just curious, which pics in particular? and would there be any way to see it when you're done.. I'm rather interested
